This song is about trying to listen to God and be still in the midst of the constant noise. Whether that noise is coming from inside of me or from the outside. I have found that there is a healing and restoring power in just being still and praying. It’s also a starting point for me. I find a sense of calm and clarity when I actually carve out the time to be quiet and focus on God in the silence. This song was written for those moments.
